Section 8 Game Review

Section 8 is not a unique game in any way, but it does look great and play great. Fortunately, it’s a multiplayer online game, which means you can play with real players in real time and there are two teams, the blue one and red one, which, of course, try to kill each other.
You can also play Section 8 in a single player mode, called Corde’s Store, which is also pretty interesting, looking a bit like Unreal Tournament III. Though Section 8 has been especially design for multiplayer gameplay, so you shouldn’t buy it just for the single player mode.
The game is a combination between Unreal Tournament and Battlefield, because it features a pretty high-speed action, but you also need tactics. Fortunately, if there aren’t enough players to play with or you want to balance the game a bit, there’s an option of adding both of specific skills.
Like in any other game of this type, after you die, you simply respawn and in this case it happens real quick. Though the best part is that you don’t just appear on the battlefield, but land from the sky and have some control on your landing. You can land wherever you want, but you shouldn’t try to do it in the enemy base, because of the anti-air turrets.
Section 8
Dynamic Combat Missions are random team objectives that grant requisition points if completed. Requisition points can also be earned for hacking terminals or scoring kills and can be spent on vehicles or turrets.
Unfortunately the game only features 20 maps, but the environments don’t vary too much, which can make the game boring at some point. A host can hold a maximum of 16 players, excepting those who own a dedicated server and can get a software from TimeGate, which doubles the limit.
Another boring part of this game is that you level with absolutely no use, because you don’t get anything by leveling. The only things you can use are requisition points, which also have nothing to do with your level.
Vehicles are extremely hard to control and especially the tank, which is almost impossible to make it go where you want. The walker is a bit easier to manage, but it’s less powerful and it doesn’t help you much.
In conclusion, Section 8 is a good game, even if it has some bad parts, like the need of a dedicated server for more than 16 players, the control of vehicles or just a few maps. I’d recommend it, because it’s considerably better than many of it’s kind and probably one of the best.

Another shock at the US Open as Dinara Safina loses to Petra Kvitova

Dinara Safina, the world No1, has joined the former champions Maria Sharapova and Andy Roddick in being eliminated from the US Open in the third-round. The Russian, who is still searching for a first grand slam win, was beaten by the world No70 Petra Kvitova of the Czech Republic 6-4, 2-6, 7-6.
Safina, who had to wait three hours to start her night match due to Sharapova's three-hour 3-6, 6-4, 7-5 defeat to Melanie Oudin and Roddick's fifth set tie-break loss to John Isner, was quickly in trouble against the 19-year-old. She offered her opponent eight break points, with Kvitova taking four of them on the way to a 1-0 lead.
There was more service trouble in the second set, when she was broken by Kvitova in the first game. At 2-0 down, though, Safina showed some grit to save three break points and then broke serve herself on the way to one set all.
Safina was still uptight and berating herself for errors, however, and they were still very much in evidence at the start of the final set.
Kvitova was dominating the top seed's second serve and again broke the Russian in the opening game, although Safina did hold the third game to get on the board at 2-1 down. Safina broke back in the sixth game to tie the final set up at 3-3.
Kvitova was still right in the match but playing as if it had already got away from her and looking extremely tired. She sent a straightforward overhead into the net, throwing her racket to the floor in disgust and promptly lost an opportunity to break again as Safina celebrated going 4-3 up.
At 5-5, Safina could still not shake off her serving problems, falling behind in the game with her fifth double of the set and ninth of the match, but she benefited from some tired play from Kvitova to take a 6-5 lead over her inexperienced opponent.
The next game saw Safina save three match points and hold her nerve to take the match to a deciding tie-break.
Kvitova took a mini-break from the first point before Safina levelled at 2-2 only to slip 5-2 behind as the Czech refused to wilt. Kvitova earned her first match point after a wild return from Safina, but made no mistake with her second chance as Safina overhit a lob.
The victory sets up a fourth-round clash with the Belgian world No50 Yanina Wickmayer, who reached the last 16 with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Italy's Sara Errani.

Van Wilder Freshman Year|Van Wilder 3

Van Wilder Freshman Year|Van Wilder 3-Van Wilder Freshman Year is the third movie in the Van Wilder series, following National Lampoon’s Van Wilder and National Lampoon’s Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj. Freshman Year is a prequel to the first film. It was released straight to DVD in Van Wilder Freshman Year Van Wilder 32009. Jonathan Bennett, Kristin Cavallari, Jerry Shea, and Steve Talley star. Harvey Glazer directs. Throughout July 19, 2009 to July 25, 2009 the film was iTunes’ number one film.
Van Wilder (Jonathan Bennett) has graduated from high school. He’s supposed to go on a trip to Amsterdam with his dad (Linden Ashby), but his dad is busy with work. Van ends up going to Coolidge because it’s a family tradition. His family has their name on a building there, Wilder Hall. However, when he gets there, Coolidge is no longer the fun loving school of his dad’s time, but a military based institution run by Dean Reardon (Kurt Fuller). Reardon, a military man who hates the senior Wilder, wants to make the younger Wilder’s life miserable. He can’t force him out because his dad is rich and has ties to the school, so he tries to make Van’s life a living hell.
Van turns a one bedroom dorm into a two bedroom (by breaking down a wall). His roommate is Farley (Nestor Aaron Absera), a pothead from Jamaica. The boys decide to throw a party on campus, something not allowed. Neither is kissing, drugs, booze, sex, or anything else that’s ‘fun.’ The only person to show up is Yu Dum Fok (Jerry Shea) (a play on words for “you dumb fuck”).
The boys try to find the girls, but they just find some religious, prudish girls led by Eve (Meredith Giangrande). After she throws blood on them, Van decides to get inventive in church, causing these chaste girls to learn how powerful the “O” really is. Reardon knows Van is behind the prank. He sics his lap dogs, ROTC student, Dirk (Steve Talley) and his closeted sidekick Corporal Benedict (Nic Nac), on Van, wanting to make him crack.
Van falls for Dirk’s girlfriend, Kaitlin (Kristin Cavallari), and Dirk doesn’t like that much. Kaitlin thinks, lives, and breathes the military, and believes in chastity before marriage. Of course, Van has to shake things up.
